The Well Worn is an independent slow fashion British brand, born from a love of vintage clothing, romantic dresses, and UK factories.

Taking inspiration from vintage garments we design wearable, women’s clothing and accessories, with a timeless style. Vintage garments are mended & reworked, giving them a new lease of life. Everything is limited edition and ethically made in the UK using mainly vintage, deadstock or preloved fabrics.  Slow fashion for every day, saving landfill one garment at a time.

About Us

The lightbulb moment came 3 years ago during the most magical summer. Where endless days were spent hanging out with the kids, finding adventures and playing in the waves. Dreamy I know! But it couldn’t last forever. After 20 years in the fashion industry I wanted my next chapter to be more me, something more personal.

I still loved designing and making clothes – but not the compromise that came with it. Was there a better way?  A way to create beautiful clothes, without compromise to the design AND the environment? After all there are enough beautiful things already in existence. So after much deliberating (and a large glass of wine) I decided to go back to my beginnings – to my love of UK factories where I started my career, my obsession with dresses, and working with all things vintage.
